Secondary: 2 3/8" diameter PVC with 1000 turns of 30 gauge magnet wire Primary: 11 turns of 1/4" copper water tubing wound in a 45 degree cone Toroid: machined aluminum baby toroid (3.2 x 1.1) / needle point Capacitor: 4800 pF 10KV; 16 Cera-mite 1200 pF 5KV laser pulse caps (2x8) Spark Gap: adjustable double copper pipe (1" diameter) Power: Actown 4KV, 30ma neon sign transformer The primary is mounted on the base of the secondary and slides to adjust the coupling. The unit stands 17 1/2" tall. |
